The Ericsson Voice Messaging Unit (VMU) is a scalable, versatile solution for voice and text messaging integrated into the BusinessPhone System. The voicemail system can serve up to 300 mailboxes, in two versions, one with 4 simultaneous voice channels and one with 16.

The VMU supports a variety of functions, including: conversations recording, dictaphone function, external system access and auto-attendant applications where the caller can be guided through a menu-based voice prompting system, to reach their desired destination.

Ericsson voice messaging also offers you the option of a Unified Messaging Solution, which enables you to get your voice and fax messages wherever you have access to email, whether you are in or out of the office.

This solution is designed to simplify the users day to day handling of messages in an intelligent and flexible way. The Ericsson Unified Messaging solution can be easily integrated into existing BusinessPhone systems and enables full integration with Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes.
